Ostovalve
Osto-Valve is a device for people with an ostomy. This device gives the user control over their body. By giving you the security and convince of a Stoma plug while allowing the user to purge at their own convince, with out having to pull off adhesive flanges through out the day. This device consists of a base plate that has a tube that is wrapped with a soft foam material like the bung of a stoma plug. The tube (stem) is placed into the stoma and a ball valve (spigot) on the exterior with a plunger to clean and lock the spigot. Once the Osto-Valve is placed into the stoma the foam material expands ensuring a good seal from within the stoma and the adhesive backing is set securely to the body. It is ready for use.
